April 5, 2023 (More photos) - One hundred sixty-five Center High School Seniors participated in Life 101 hosted by CISD's CTE Department on March 29, 2023. Volunteers from the community spoke to students in sessions about life after high school with topics such as: How to change a tire/car maintenance by Toledo Automotive, Cooking on a Budget by Jennifer Fausett, Money Management by Chris and Cynthia Huffstetler accompanied by Cameron McElroy, First Impressions by Heather Chambliss, Police Officer Interaction by Center Police Department, and CPR with Edie Miller and Jaclyn Scarborough.
After a pizza picnic, the afternoon session was led by Chris Watlington, Jennifer Fausett, Sydney Brookshire and Junior Chamber of Commerce members who facilitated team building games. A big thank you to Shelby County Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us.
