September 15, 2023 - The 47th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival Queen’s Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday, September 30th and reigning Queen Sayre Hall will crown the 2023 Miss East Texas Poultry Festival Queen in the Center High School Cafetorium. The coronation ceremony will begin at 7pm. General admission is $5. Tables and reserved seats may be purchased through the Chamber of Commerce at 936-598-3682.
Since the beginning of September, seven queen candidates have been enjoying various events including a welcome party, a fun social, Girls Giving Back and a Disco Fever party, the Doo Dah Parade, and a mother/daughter brunch. The young ladies have learned social etiquette, interview practices, and a multitude of skill sets which will prepare them for future experiences.
