27th Annual Sassafras Festival Set for Oct 28th; Kicks Off Friday

October 27, 2017 - The 27th Annual Sassafras Festival is set for October 28, 2017 in historic downtown San Augustine, Texas.

Sassafras Kickoff Bingo and Dinner is Friday, October 27th. Entertainment starts at 5:00 pm, dinner at 5:30 pm and bingo at 6:00 pm on the Downtown Square.

The Sassafras Festival is a fun filled family festival: art and craft vendors, live music, classic car show, food vendors, pet show, halloween costume contest, children activities, walk to end Alzheimers, "Rae Estes" BBQ cook-off, SAHS grand reunion tours all day of the 1919 "Law Enforcement Museum," ole-fashioned family fun and more!
