35 Graduating from Angelina College Vocational Nursing Program


Angelina College will hold a pinning ceremony for the 35 graduates of the Vocational Nursing Program Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. in Temple Theater on the AC campus.

December 10, 2018 Lufkin – Thirty-five students will graduate from the vocational nursing program at Angelina College during a ceremony in Temple Theater December 12 at 6 p.m.

Graduates from Lufkin are Angelica Cordero, Stephanie Hollman, Sydney Howell, Gloria Hunt, Jake Hunter, Terri Jacobo, Amy Trainer and Domonique Ward.

Graduates from Nacogdoches are Elizabeth Gonzalez, Maritza Guillen, Christina Hogg, Karina Maldonado-Jaimes, Maribel Ribera and Anahi Rodrigues.

Other graduates are Crystal Wilson and Morgan Beusse, both of Crockett; Jocelyn Chacon and Jasmin Santana, both of Diboll; Matthew Collins and Kayla Johnson, both of Huntington; Patricia F. Miller of Burkeville, Judith Allison of Cushing, Diana M. Eason of Fred, Markel McAlister of Garrison, Kimberly K. Scroggins of Hemphill, Anna B. Wolfford of Kirbyville, Renea Mize of Livingston, Katelin L. Stone of Lovelady, Ellen N. Murray of Palestine, Heather Hill of Pollok, Alyssa B. Utley of Porter Springs, Olivia Turner of Shepherd, Crystal Hanks of Warren, Angela S. Hopson of Wiergate, and Sydney R. Horine of Woodville.

Nursing Programs Director Tonya LaForge said, “Nursing is a very demanding profession, both physically and emotionally. These graduates have proven themselves ready to take on and represent the profession well. We wish them the best and hope they continue their nursing education.”
