June 18, 2018 - (Photo Album) - Oley Willis, All Smoked Up cook team, was the Overall winner of the 2018 Grill Fest barbecue cooking competition held at the John D. Windham Civic Center Saturday, June 9, 2018. Along the way, All Smoked Up won the Chicken division and took second place in the Brisket division.
Over $6,500 was awarded to the competing teams.
Joshua Campbell, Tipsy Texans, won second place Overall and he took third place in the Brisket division. Announcing the winners of each division and presenting them with their trophies was Jerry Lathan, Center City Councilman. Debra Chandler, Lonestar Barbecue Society, was once again the judge for the event.
