April 26, 2018 - Citizens of Shelby County have teamed up with the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce to host an American Idol Watch Party on Sunday, April 29, 2018 to support our own, Cade Foehner in his journey to be the Next American Idol!
Sponsors of the venue for the watch party are Farmers State Bank, Sabine State Bank, Shelby Savings Bank and the John D. Windham Civic Center.
American Idol announced last Sunday, for the first time in the history of American television, a reality-competition series will allow viewers to watch and vote from coast to coast simultaneously across the country. Results will be revealed at the end of the show Sunday revealing the Top 7! This is important because voting will only be during the show! There will not be a Monday night episode as Dancing with the Stars Athletes fills the 7pm time slot.
Event coordinator, Sheila Bradshaw Jones invites everyone to come to the John D. Windham Civic Center at 6:30pm on Sunday to watch American Idol and celebrate together as Cade Foehner advances in the competition to the Top 7. Tech support will be available for any fan that is having trouble voting with their electronic devices or have questions about how to vote.
