Angelina College Hosting 50th Anniversary Carnival

April 24, 2019 Lufkin – Angelina College will host a 50th anniversary carnival Thursday, May 2 from 5-9 p.m. at the Activity Center parking lot. All games and rides are free.

Jordan LaCaille, Student Life and Orientation coordinator has arranged for a wide variety of activities that the entire family will enjoy. “We want to thank the community for 50 years of supporting Angelina College. We hope everyone will come out and enjoy rides, food and games,” she said.

LaCaille has arranged for a bounce house and bungee run, face paining, balloon animals, glow sticks and a pirate ship ride. For those feeling more adventurous, there will be a mechanical bull, a rock wall, and a zip line. Animal lovers can have their photos made with monkeys from Ms. Monkeys Emporium and enjoy petting the animals from Pawsitive Animal Encounters. Heavy C Entertainment will provide DJ services to keep everyone dancing.

Attendees can enjoy free cotton candy, popcorn, and sno-cones. The first 300 attendees arriving between 5-7 p.m. will receive arm bands for free hotdogs and nachos from Great Western Dining.

It’s just not a carnival without games, so carnival goers can try their luck at bottle toss, clown down, plinko, putt-putt, skee ball, teen striker, and moonwalk basketball shootout.
