April 21, 2022 - Officials with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, Angelina National Forests, have advised two prescribed burn today locations:
Angelina N. F. – Compartment 1 (Norwood North RX), Blocks A/B/C Only Located in the Norwood Community, for 1,530 acres, North of FM 1992, with Helicopter Support, and Winds are predicted from the Southeast/South at 6-10 MPH.
Angelina NF. – Compartments 4/5/6 (Norwood RX), Blocks A & D only Located in the Norwood Community, 803 acres, North of Texas State Highway 103, and around the Sowell Cemetery, with Helicopter Support and Winds are predicted from Southeast/South at 6-10 MPH.
Please drive with caution. Also, we advised and long range drift Smoke may affect some of the areas.
