January 20, 2017 (Form) - The Shelby County Historical Society is currently having their annual membership drive for 2017. The Museum is celebrating 57 years of expanding the history and knowledge of Shelby County. The cost of memberships are: $25 for individual/families; business - $500 Platinum; $250 Gold; $150 Silver; $50 Bronze or $1000 for Family Life Membership.
The museum uses the money raised from these yearly memberships to offset their operational budget for the year. Checks can be made out to Shelby County Historical Society, PO Box 1542, Center, Texas 75935-1542 or it can be dropped off at the museum Monday through Friday from 1pm - 4pm at 230 Pecan Street in Center.

The current displace at the museum is on sport memorabilia highlighting the talents of Shelby County schools and individual who have excelled in the sporting arena. It is amazing the amount of talent Shelby County has produced in this field. Come by and check it out!! One can't help but be amazed.
