April 6, 2018 - Lori McSwain has diabetes and developed an infection in her foot unknowingly. The infection entered her blood stream and she became septic before she knew it. Lori is in the hospital on high powered antibiotics. If they can't clear up the infection, they will have to amputate her foot.
While in the hospital it has been detected that she also has some broken bones in both of her feet that she wasn't aware of. Because of the diabetes she can't feel anything going on with her feet. She will have to have surgery on her feet as well, to repair the broken bones.
Lori has a long road ahead of her and this has put a strain on her and her husband, Steve, financially.
