Blue Santa Seeking Toy Donations; Chance to Win for Donors

December 5, 2017 (Application Form) - The Center Police Department's Blue Santa program is getting ready to load the sleigh and needs your help. Blue Santa is asking for donations of new toys, books, or clothes for all ages of boys and girls. Monetary donations are also welcomed.

To get things started there will be a donation box located at the Center Police Dept in the lobby. For every toy that is donated, you will be entered into a drawing for a 32 GB IPAD computer donated by Walmart. This drawing will be held on Monday, December 18th. Second, there will be a raffle sale for a Mossberg 510, 410 youth model. Tickets are $20 a piece, and only 200 tickets will be sold. Sale of these raffle tickets will enable Blue Santa to purchase more gifts to meet the needs of the children on our list. You can purchase tickets from the Center Police Dept Officers, Dispatchers, and Shelby County Today.

If you know of a child/children that will not have any Santa this Christmas, please fill out a form. One form per child. Forms are available at the Center Police Department, Light and Champion, Shelby County Today, KQBB/Center Broadcasting, any Center ISD School Campus, Lasting Impressions, Mathews Real Estate, and ACE EMS. The forms will need to be returned No later than the Monday before Christmas, December 18, 2017.

Let Blue Santa help you make a child’s Christmas blessed this year!
