Center FD Responds to Fire Inside Tractor Supply

August 31, 2018 - The Center Fire Department responded to Tractor Supply for a fire inside the store on Friday, August 31st around noon.

Upon arrival on scene, the store was full of smoke and firemen quickly learned an employee had used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames containing it to the back corner of the building. Firemen then used fans to help draw the smoke out of the store.

Center Fire Department Chief Keith Byndom said at this point it is unknown if the fire was intentional or accidental. A lighter appears to have been used to start the fire.

The Center Police Department arrived on scene to investigate the incident. No additional information is available at this time.
