March 12, 2018 - Center Garden Club members Robbie Kerr, Cherry Jones, Carolyn Bounds, Center Garden Club President Carole Ann Chance, District III Director Kathi Sivess, and District III Recording Secretary Linda Bordelon attended the District III Texas Garden Club Convention "Bouquets on the Bayou" March 8 & 9, 2018 in Jefferson, Texas hosted by the Jessie Wise Garden Club.
Members were able to view floral designs from the Jessie Wise Garden Club Flower Show displayed at the Excelsior House, shop for plants and other gardening items, and learn about the activities and projects of the garden clubs in District III. 25 clubs and presidents represented the District with 96 registered members.
Center Garden Club placed 3rd in the District winning 24 awards for 2017.
