Center HS Tennis Dominates District and Heads to Regional Tournament

April 13, 2015 - Center Tennis competed in the District Tournament at Center ISD on Monday, April 6th. The program as a whole won the overall Varsity and JV boys and girls district championship in a landslide. Henderson placed 2nd, Tatum came in 3rd, Carthage placed 4th and Rusk brought in 5th in overall varsity points.

The individual varsity results are as follows:

Boys V Doubles

1st place - Adam Reeves / Alec Lucas
2nd place - Chris Dunn / Kamden Lucas
3rd place - Tatum
4th place - Henderson

Girls V Doubles

1st place - Julie Garcia / Malory Nehring
2nd place - Faith Lengl / Rylee Hudspeth

3rd place - Henderson
4th place - Tatum

Mixed V Doubles

1st place - Tony Garcia / Allison Langford
2nd place - Dustin Bennett / Sheridan Cassell
3rd place - Tatum
4th place - Carthage

Boys V Singles

1st place - Henderson
2nd place - Zack Fausett
3rd place - Henderson

4th place - Nate Morris

Girls V Singles

1st place - Henderson
2nd place - Whitlee Reed
3rd place - Tatum

4th place - Megan Dunn

All 1st and 2nd place finishers will advance to the Region 3 Championship on April 20-21 at Bryan HS. Center will advance 14 players, Henderson 2 players.

Center Tennis also dominated the overall district in JV.
