May 25, 2017 - The Center Roughrider Band is proud to announce exciting news. On May 5, 2017, many talented candidates tried out for a chance to be part of the 2017-2018 twirling line.
Hard work and dedication was applied to this tryout. Candidates were asked to learn a routine including many fundamentals of twirling and to also pass off music requirements on their band instruments. For several who tried out, the hard work paid off.
The Middle School twirlers for 2017-2018 are Cristina Hernandez, Nicole Aguilar, Alexia Pineda, Sierra Sherman, Sarah Scull, Dulce Chavez, Adrianna Hines, and Imari Bell.
Middle School Drum Majors are Dulce Chavez and Obed Lopez.
The High School twirlers for 2017-2018 are Jackie Gonzalez, Maria Alvarado, Selena Jaimes, Kayden Davis, Oderay Figueroa, Madason Bowlin, Brooklyn Ikner, Mallory Sims (Head Twirler), Maria Angel, Abby Cooper, Holly Wilburn, JaLee Campbell, and Raylee Wilburn.
High School Drum Majors are Selena Jaimes, Oscar Vazquez, Milly Medina.
Congratulations to all who were selected as twirlers and will be representing the Center Roughrider Bands next year.
