Center ISD Red Ribbon Week Starts October 23rd

October 22, 2017 - Center ISD honors Red Ribbon Week to Celebrate being drug free, October 23rd through October 27th.

Monday — "Team up Against Drugs"
Tuesday — "Put a Cap and Shades on Drugs"
Wednesday — "Wear Red Day"
Thursday — "Superhero Day"
Friday — "Cowboy Day"

Center Elementary School (Click here for Spanish)
Monday —   “Cowboy Day” Wear your cowboy outfit, because we are going to lasso drugs in our school and in our community.
Tuesday — “Put a Cap and Shades on Drugs Day” Wear your favorite cap/hat and shades to school.
Wednesday — “Wear Red Day” In recognition of the many officers who
have lost their lives in the line of duty while trying to end the war on drugs.
Thursday — “Superhero Day” Wear your favorite superhero costume.
Friday — “CES Annual Vocabulary Parade” Wear an outfit which represent a word showing that “Words have power!!!

Say “NO” to Drugs and “Yes” to a Happy Life!

Center Intermediate School
Monday — "Hats Off to Being Drug Free!" Wear your crazy, silliest hat or your favorite hat.
Tuesday — "Tacky Tourist Day!" See the world through drug-free eyes! No matter where you are make good choices, see the world through drug free eyes.
Wednesday — "Red Out!" RED-y to be Drug Free! All students, staff members, and parents will wear as much red as possible to take a stand against drugs.
Thursday — "Drugs are Despicable!" Wear your minion yellow.
Friday — "Winners Don't Do Drugs!" Wear your favorite sports team t-shirt or jersey.

Red Ribbon Contests
Door Decoration Contest — Decorate your classroom door with your very own theme for Red Ribbon Week. One winner per grade level will earn an ice cream party.
Poster Contest — Students can enter a poster for Red Ribbon Week. Compete for 1st place prize. Due October 26th. Poster should: Relate or represent a Red Ribbon Theme; Have a clear message and easy to understand; Have a visual impact; Be creative/original; 9x12 inches or bigger.

Center Middle School
Monday — Proud of America & Proud to be Drug Free! (“America Day” Dress in Red, White and Blue)
Tuesday — Don’t be Tacky, Drugs are Wacky! See the world through drug-free eyes! (Dress like a tacky tourist or mismatched clothes)
Wednesday — National Drug Awareness Day (Wear Red)
Thursday — We are too Smart for Drugs! (Dress like a Nerd)
Friday — Team up Against Drugs (Color War DAY) 8th grade - Wear purple; 7th grade - Wear Gold/Yellow; 6th grade - Wear White

Center High School
Monday — "Sock It To Drugs" Wear your crazy, silly, or mismatched socks to school!
Tuesday — "Team Up Against Drugs!" Wear your favorite team shirt or jersey to school!
Wednesday — "Put a Cap on Drugs" Wear your favorite cap or hat to school!
Thursday — "Give Drugs the Boot" Wear your favorite boots to school!
Friday — "Purple Pride Day" Wear purple and gold!
