Center MS Beta Club Travels to New Orleans

The LIving Literature in competition, based on the literature of 'A Night to Remember' by Walter Lord.  Their presentation was based on the Titanic tragedy.August 11, 2016 - Center Middle School's Beta Club traveled to the National Junior Beta Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 23-26.  Eighteen middle school students placed at the state level qualifying them for Nationals in Oil and Acrylic painting, Technology, Jewelry, Digitally Enhanced Photography, and Living Literature.  

Students qualifying included: Dayton Bush, Josh Clinton, Tyler Herndon, Keelan Williams, MaKayla Mayo, Kamryn Holt, Caroline Scull, Zac Denby, Grant Hockenberry, Hunter Rowland, Kennedy Bush, Taylor Horton, Jake Liker, Cale Henson, Ali Stuever, Sarah Scull, Karan Rawandawa, and Wesley Wages.   
While at the National Convention, Keelan Williams earned 2nd place in her Handmade Jewelry and Living Literature placed in the top ten.  

CMS Beta club would like to thank Boom Boom Photo Booth, Eta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, the Lion's Club, the Rotary Club, and the School Board for their generous donations to help make this trip possible.  Center was well represented by these Middle School students.
