November 30, 2017 - On October 21, the Center High School marching band attended UIL marching contest in Longview at Lobo Stadium. Each band in our area that participated was rated on their performance. The judges used a range of criteria to rate the bands on marching techniques and quality of sound. Center Roughrider Band earned a first division as a result of the hard work and dedication put forth by students and directors.
Also, on November 4, the High School Band earned a first division while marching in NAMMB which is the National Association of Military Marching Bands. If you see students who are in the high school band program at Center ISD, please congratulate them on a job well done.
