November 17, 2017 - The City Council of Joaquin will meet in regular session Tuesday, November 21, 2017 6:30pm at The Joaquin City Hall located at 124 North Preston, Joaquin, Texas.

1. Call to order, establish quorum & welcome guest.
2. Invocation & Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Open Forum.
4. Council approval of the previous month’s minutes.
5. Monthly Reports:
a. City Secretary- Scheduling Notes
b. Utility Billing Manager
• Report --Monthly receipts
c. Public Works Manager
• Update – Departmental Updates
d. Water Department
• Update—Ongoing Water Projects.
6. Discussion & Council Action on Payment of Bills.
7. Discussion & Council Action on approval of 2016 Independent Audit.
8. Discussion & Council Action on approval of resolution authorizing the submission of CDBG application to the Texas General Land office.
9. Discussion & Council Action on Public Safety Development request to share expense of 2018 promotional materials for both Development Corps.
10. Discussion & Council Action on possibly renaming of Saddle Street to Sam Watts Drive.
11. Discussion & Council Action on Designating City owned building on Steve Hughes Drive as a storage only facility.
12. Council will hold a closed Executive Session Meeting-Personnel Matters (551.074).

b. Water Operator Status Review and possible classification change.
13. Council reconvenes & possible action on matters discussed in executive session.
