March 22, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a regular called meeting of the governing body of the City of Tenaha will be held on Monday the 25th day of March 2024 at 5:30pm at Tenaha City Hall, 238 North George Bowers Drive, Tenaha, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:

5. Citizens Input: This time is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items that appear within the agenda, or a matter not listed on the agenda. Each speaker is limited to 3 minutes. A Citizens Input Form must be filled out and filed in with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.

10. Discussion and possible action appointed Cristi Estes as Election Judge for the May 4, 2024, General Election.
11. Discussion and possible action renewing the City of Tenaha’s membership with the Texas Municipal League (TML).
12. Discussion and possible action adopting a resolution authorizing the submission of a Texas Community Development Block Grant Program application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for the Downtown Revitalization Program.
13. Discussion and possible action on approving the purchase of a City Truck with ARPA funds.
14. Discuss Purchase vs Lease on PD future vehicles.
15. Discussion and possible action on approving adding Unit 281 to the City of Tenaha upcoming auction.
16. Discuss Code Compliance/Animal Control Officer.
17. Executive session: Personnel Matters Government Code Section 551.074 possible action related thereto upon reconvening in open session. (Tenaha Police Department Officer Positions Reserves and Parttime)
18. Council Items: Reports by the members of the City Council on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time. A total, not to exceed 10 minutes will be devoted to these reports.
19. Adjourn.
