April 24, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 26th day of April 2024 at 5:30 PM at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob St., Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
1. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and consider approval of the Regular Council Meeting, April 16, 2024 minutes.
2. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and consider approval to move CD’s ending with 406, 414, 415, and 416 from American State Bank to Austin Bank, with signatures on the accounts being Mayor Smith, Mayor Pro Tem Johnson, Misty Burgess and Paula Mullins.
3. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and consider approval of Austin Bank’s proposal for a loan in the amount of $150,000 to add to the City’s matched funds for the CDV21-0115 grant to replace lift stations #3 and #4.
4. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and consider bids received for TxDCBG No. CDV21-0115 – Sewer System Improvements, which was tabled from the April 16, 2024 Regular Council Meeting.
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
