March 14, 2017 - First United Methodist Church Fine Arts Series
You are invited to a free concert presenting pianist Jim Hendricks of Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, March 26 at 7:00 PM at the Center First United Methodist Church sanctuary.
Jim Hendricks' arrangements of traditional Gospel and contemporary Christian music are characterized by unmatched technical ability and passion. Because of the fun, humor, energy, and variety of Jim's performances, people of all ages with diverse tastes in music are sure to enjoy this program. Jim Hendricks has performed in churches all over the land, including the Crystal Cathedral. He has also been a featured symphonic orchestra soloist of Rachmaninoff's piano music and has performed with such greats as the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Dave Brubeck, Della Reese, Jack Jones, Clark Terry, Louie Bellson, and many others. Come catch the excitement!
Mr. Hendricks will also play at the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services on Sunday, March 26th.
