Daughters of the Republic of Texas to Visit Harrison Farm

October 3, 2016 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, October 8, at the Corley/ Harrison Heritage Farm near Tenaha.

Patricia and George Harrison will have a program and tour of their farm. (No hiking involved, transportation provided.)

Fay Eddins will be at the parking lot behind First Methodist Church in Center (by the Cemetery) at 9:30 to lead anyone wishing to go. Or, from Center, take US 96 to Tenaha, take Loop 157 just past the Cemetery and go about .7 mile to the traffic light, turn left on US 59S/US 84W, go about .7 mile to Farm Road 2141. Turn left, go 1.5 miles to the driveway. Follow the Texas flags to the parking area.  

Bring a sack lunch and a chair. Drinks and dessert will be furnished. Guests are invited. After the tour we'll have lunch and a brief business meeting.
