March 28, 2017 - The April meeting of the William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas has been changed to Saturday, April 1 (this Saturday) at 10AM at the Sam Samford Lodge in Center, The change was voted on at the March meeting, due to a conflict. We will elect and install Chapter Officers for the 2017-2019 term and make plans for the upcoming DRT Convention in Dallas.
Susan Aikin, our District Representative, will be our special guest. Hostesses for the meeting will be descendants of Benjamin Franklin Adams: Judy Lee, Janice Butler, Gina Ferren and Jean Corbell.
We would also like to thank the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, members of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and members of the Children of the Republic of Texas who assisted in our March Texas History Month program. You made it a better program. We appreciate what you do.
