September 21, 2018 - The 42nd East Texas Poultry Festival will be featuring local Creative Arts through the annual Creative Arts Show, sponsored by Scull Timber, along with a Can-A-Rama featuring local canned goods. Don’t miss this opportunity to show your handiwork in art, quilting, canning, crafts, woodworking and metal art.
All creative arts divisions have several classes of judging categories and are open to Elementary (Kindergarten through 5th grades), Youth (6th through 12th grades) and Adults that will be judged in separate divisions. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three places in each category along with a sweepstakes rosette for top point winner in all divisions.
Creative Arts entry forms and fees must be submitted by 12:00 noon on Friday, September 21. Entries must be delivered to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Gym Building between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, or Tuesday, October 2. All entries will be displayed from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 on Thursday, October 4 and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6.
