November 6, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library is pleased to announce it has received a $5,000 grant from the Tocker Foundation of Austin, Texas. These funds will support the Graphic Advancements for All Ages program
This grant from the Tocker Foundation will help us, through the addition of graphic novels to our library shelves, to reach reluctant readers and people with learning disabilities (as well as those who simply see the world a little differently than the majority) and make our library, as well as our community, a better place.
The Tocker Foundation promotes Texas public libraries in communities of 12,000 or less. Grant applications are reviewed by a permanent committee of librarians appointed by the Texas Library Association.
