Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library Preschool Story Time

November 10, 2021 - Last Wednesday, November 3rd, preschoolers enjoyed a program at the Fannie Brown Booth Library Preschool Story Time. Mrs. Terri Lacher read a story to the children about Fall. The children listened to a story about the leaves changing colors and falling from the trees. Mrs. Lacher asked questions about the story which the children were eager to answer.

Following the story, Librarian Sandra Davis and volunteer Roy Davis had a variety to crafts for the children to make related to the Fall theme. One of the activities included drawing their handprint as if it were a tree and then gluing heart-shaped leaves onto the tree with some of the leaves falling to the ground. Parents and grandparents who attended with the children enjoyed sharing in the craft time and getting to visit with each other.

Preschool Story Time is offered at 10:30am each Wednesday at the Library at no cost. We appreciate Librarian Sandra Davis and the volunteers who work so hard to make this program both an enjoyable and learning opportunity for our youngest library patrons. Parents and grandparents and other special adults are invited to attend with the Preschool children and join in the fun.
