April 17, 2024 - The Center Police Department Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a Fish Fry Fundraiser in support of Officer Luis Acuna. Officer Acuna had to have emergency surgery in March, and will have a follow up surgery in May. This event is to help raise funds for the medical cost. The Fish Fry will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 11am to 1pm or sold-out, with a Drive-thru pick up at the Center Police Department (1020 Shelbyville Street).
Plates will be $10 and will have fish, fries, hushpuppies, and drink. If you would like to purchase a pre-sale ticket, please come by the Center PD, or contact a CPD Ladies Auxiliary member.
In addition to the Fish Fry, CPD Ladies Aux will also be selling raffle tickets at a chance for a great prizes. There will be 3 drawings.
- First Prize: Guided Fishing trip for two. A $350 value donated by Toledo Guide Service & Cabin Rental and Matthews Realty, a 55 gal lifetime cooler from Walmart, CASE pocket knife from Loop 500 feed, fishing lures/bait from Covington’s.
- Second Prize: 2 Concert Tickets to Stevie Nicks live at The Frost on May 18th, $100 Walmart card from New Life Church, and $20 gift card from AnnLynn Nutrition.
- Third Prize: 2 WILL Preparation packages from Hightower, Franklin & James.
Tickets will be $5 each, and the drawing will be held on May 4th.
