April 12, 2024 - Congratulations to Chris Jones who has reported having beaten the Lake Pinkston record for the largest black Crappie caught on rod and reel on Saturday, April 6.
After catching his fish, he weighed it at Wings and White Tails and they confirmed the weight of the Crappie at 2.45 lbs.
The previous reported weight was 2.35 lbs on March 16, 2021.
