October 3, 2023 - Flags are now flying at half staff per Presidential Proclamation for Sen. Dianne Feinstein. Her funeral will be Thursday, October 5, 2023 and flags should be raised at sunset that day.
September 30, 2023 - Presidential Proclamation issued September 29, 2023 asks that all flags be lowered to half-staff in honor of Senator Dianne Feinstein until sunset on the day of interment (to be announced).
All flags flying with the US Flag should also be lowered. If you have a flag that cannot be lowered, respect can be shown by attaching a black ribbon or cord to the top of the mast.
