FLM, CES and CIS Donate 150 Bags of Needs to Nursing Homes

December 19, 2014 - Recently, FL Moffett, Center Elementary, Center Intermediate School, and Center High School Anatomy and Physiology students came together for a community project to benefit the local Nursing Homes. Pre-K and Kindergarten brought lotion, First Grade brought socks, Second Grade brought deodorant, Third Grade brought Chap Stick, Fourth Grade brought Lip Gloss, and Fifth Grade brought body wash and body sprays. CES principal, Rachel Miller says, “We filled 150 bags for Christmas and had extra supplies to send to each home as well.” After all of the items were collected, the students in Mr. Michael Elder’s A&P class put the gift bags together and helped deliver them to the nursing homes this week. The spirit of Christmas is filling each campus and overflowing into the community of Center.
