Focused Care at Center Parade Float Depicts a Traditional Christmas Scene

Center Skilled Nursing Facility Staff and Seniors Light Up Holiday Parade with a “Texas Country Christmas”

December 1, 2017 – A rocking chair, fireplace, wrapped presents and a Christmas tree will sit atop Focused Care at Center’s float for Santa’s Christmas Parade tomorrow as staff and residents at the skilled nursing facility join in the holiday celebration.

“Focused Care team members, residents and family members look forward to bringing our Christmas spirit to the folks of Center,” said Hollie Adams, administrator for Focused Care at Center. “Everyone has worked hard to show their appreciation for our community.”

The theme of Focused Care’s float is a Texas Country Christmas and designed to convey a traditional family Christmas scene with red, white and blue lights and bales of hay for float riders to sit on while singing classic Christmas carols. Dressed in Christmas colors of green and red, float riders will don cowboy hats and a few Santa and Elf caps as the float carries a “Merry Christmas Ya’ll” banner celebrating Texas Country spirit.

“Our facility is a part of the Center community and we wanted to show the spirit not only of Christmas but of our Focused Care family,” said A’Leena Busch, Activities Director of Focused Care at Center. “More than 20 floats will be a part of the parade so we are decorating with lots of tinsel to make sure the Focused Care family shines!”
