March 21, 2017 - "Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it - the Lord is His name. Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." (Jeremiah 33:2-3)
God tells us; "call to Me" for He wants to communicate with us daily. So many feel that God doesn't speak to "just anyone", that maybe He only speaks to people like; Moses, or Isaiah, or Elisha, or one of the Apostles. Not so, God speaks to anyone who calls upon Him, asking, by faith, for forgiveness of sin.
God hears all, He sees all, and He is everywhere at all times, so He knows what we are doing and He hears what we say. God does all of this, but He only answers the prayers of believers.
A lost person can call to Him all he wants, but, until that person gives himself to the Lord Jesus and accepts the free gift of salvation from God the Father, God will not respond to his prayers. That response is the reward for believing, the privilege to be in communication with the Lord God any time you wish.
Do you need help today? Do your troubles seem just to heavy to bear? Is life almost too hard to endure? Then maybe that is your call, your opportunity to become a new person, to lay your burdens at the feet of Jesus and be at peace with the Lord. Peace is available to all who ask.
"Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
He tells you; "Call to Me", you have the opportunity to lay your burdens down and find rest. I ask you today, where can you find a better offer than that? Where can you find rest, not for an hour or for a day, but for eternity?
You will never know the true joy of walking side by side with the Lord unless you accept His offer; "Call to Me".
Call to Him, simply ask Him for forgiveness and he will forgive you of all sins and accept you as His own.
Just say; "Lord I am a sinner and need you for my own, please forgive me and cleanse me of my sins, please accept me and be my Lord and Master".
The things you will experience once born-again are truly great and hidden things that cannot be known or experienced without becoming a born-again child of the Most High God.
These things are hidden because they are only for His children to enjoy.
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and it is not anxious in years of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Truly blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord for that man knows the true joy of the love of God.
"Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for His steadfast love endures forever." (Jeremiah)
