May 23, 2018 - President Helen Collard welcomed members and guests to the May 21 meeting of the Golden Harvest Ministries Club at Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church in Center, Texas.
Guest speaker Mike Brister explained the purpose of the Stepstones International Ministry and how local churches participate. Schools are being built around the world, and recent help was given in Rockport after Hurricane Harvey.
David Mathis, Associate Pastor of Worship and Education of the First Baptist Church in Center, Texas, added to the worship in music at the May Golden Harvest Ministries Club by playing the guitar while members sang "America the Beautiful" in preparation for the celebration of Memorial Day. Members also sang "Happy Birthday" to Mike Bordelon, Charlotte Smith, Jo Warr, Winnie Preston, and Janette Harvey.
