January 27, 2016 - CAMP 3G is a one-day camp for children grieving the loss of a loved one. It will be hosted at the Nacogdoches Recreation Center on March 5th 2016 from 9am until 3pm.
It is open to children ages 5 to 12 who have lost a loved one in the last year. Campers will spend a day alternating between team/trust building activities and clinically focused grief activities. This is an opportunity for children to openly express feelings of grief, receive support from peers and trained staff, and learn healthy coping skills to continue their grief journey. At the end of the day staff will meet with parents/guardians to provide support and answer questions.
Please fill out an application and return it to Anna Donihoo at the Nacogdoches Hospice of East Texas Shop by February 22. Families will be notified of acceptance by February 29. Space is limited, so apply today!
