January 14, 2019 - January Students of the Month for Joaquin Elementary
Emma Clevenger is the Pre-K Student of the Month for January because she works very hard in class and she likes helping her friends and teachers. Emma's favorite center is the kitchen because she likes to cook chicken nuggets. Emma wants to be a cop when she grows up so she can catch bad people.
Lily Oliver is the Kindergarten Student of the Month for January. Lily is 5 years old and she loves to play with her Minnie Mouse and her Barbie with a chicken. Her favorite part of school is when she goes to centers to sort money and she loves to learn about math. When she grows up she hopes to be a police officer.
Eduardo Jasso was chosen as the 1st grade Student of the Month for January because he is always sweet and helpful to his friends, tries his hardest, and minds his teachers. His favorite subject in school is math and his favorite part of the school day is going to lunch. His favorite foods are tacos and spaghetti and his favorite color is pink. On the weekends, he likes to watch TV with his family and play outside with his remote control car.
Tristan Nelson is the 2nd grade Student of the Month for January. Tristan was chosen because of his hard work and helpful nature. He is eight years old and loves Math. His favorite foods are spaghetti and pizza. He loves the colors green and blue. After school, he plays with his Legos. He also likes to read the book and watch the movie Toy Story.
The 3rd grade Student of the Month for January is Caseyn Milford and he wrote the following about himself. Hi, my name is Caseyn Milford. My favorite thing about school is Math. I like it because I love multiplication. When I get home from school, I like to play with my brother Jaxon on the trampoline and playhouse. I can't wait for my new baby sister to be here in May. My favorite food is steak and my favorite movie is Wreck It Ralph 2. I am so proud to be chosen as Student of the Month!
The 4th grade Student of the Month for January is Brody Cummings and he wrote the following about himself. Hello, my name is Brody Cummings, and I like to spend time with my family. My favorite food is pizza, and I really like pepperoni. I like to play my Play Station 4, and I like to play with my brothers. My favorite subject is reading, and I also like to play with my dog named Kelly. We like to play fetch together. Brody was chosen as the student of the month because he does a great job at following rules, he is very trustworthy, and polite. Keep up the great work, Brody!
The 5th grade Student of the Month for January is Karson Rogers and he wrote the following about himself. Hi, my name is Karson Rogers. I am 11 years old. I really enjoy playing sports, especially football and baseball. My favorite video game is Madden 19. I like playing kickball at recess. I want to thank my teachers for choosing me as the 5th grade Student of the Month.
