December 7, 2018 - Joaquin Elementary announces the Students of the Month for December.
Pre-Kindergarten
Easton Holt was chosen as the Pre-K Student of the Month for December because he is a good listener and always helps his friends in class. Easton loves to play baseball and football when he gets out of school.
Kindergarten
Riley Dennis was chosen as the Kindergarten Student of the Month for December because he does his best and is very helpful. Riley's favorite thing to do is play with his cars. His favorite food to eat is steak. When Riley grows up he wants to be a dad.
First Grade
Cristian Bacillio was chosen as the 1st grade Student of the Month for December. Cristian's favorite color is blue! He loves to play with glitter slime and play basketball. He loves pizza, hamburgers, and Gatorade. His favorite thing to do in school is math. Cristian was chosen because he is truly a big helper. He does not have to be asked to help, he just does it out of the goodness of his heart. He is always on task and takes pride in his work.
Second Grade
Kyler Townsend is the 2nd grade Student of the Month for December. Kyler loves to eat crawfish and her favorite color is pink. Her favorite subject is Math and she loves to swing with her friends Lyndrey, Grayson, and Bella. Kyler's favorite thing to do at home is to jump on her trampoline. When Kyler grows up she wants to be a veterinarian.
Third Grade
The 3rd grade Student of the Month for December is Kelsi Wood and she wrote the following about herself. Hi, my name is Kelsi Wood and I am 9 years old. I am in 3rd grade My favorite thing in school is Reading. My favorite food is spaghetti. On the weekend, I like to spend time with my family and read books.
Four Grade
The 4th grade Student of the Month for December is Valeria Ruiz and she wrote the following about herself. Hello, my name is Valeria Ruiz, and I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love to go to the Louisiana Boardwalk with my family. I have four friends named Layla, Natalie, Irelynn, and Ella. My favorite color is pink and turquoise and my favorite restaurant is Cindy's Place. Also, I have three dogs named Bella, George, and Henry. My favorite subject is writing and I have three amazing teachers. My words of wisdom to everyone is always think wisely. Valeria was chosen because she is always respectful and a hard worker. Congratulations, Valeria!
Fifth Grade
The 5th grade Student of the Month for December is Anna Claire Lewis and she wrote the following about herself. Hi! My name is Anna Claire Lewis and I am in the 5th grade. My favorite subjects in school are Math, Science and Reading. I have two dogs named Milkshake and HoBo. I LOVE to play with them. My favorite food is Macaroni and ketchup. My favorite things are squirrel hunting and going to Party Central!
