April 3, 2017 - Joaquin Elementary announces the Students of the Month for April
Pre-Kindergarten - Eduardo Jasso
Eduardo likes to play basketball and ride his gray bicycle at home. Eduardo was chosen as our friend of the month because he is so kind and helpful to his friends. The kitchen center is Eduardo’s favorite center because he likes to bake chocolate cakes. We are proud of Eduardo.
Kindergarten - Grayson Gamble
Grayson likes to be with her family and ride her bike. Her favorite food is watermelon. When Grayson grows up she wants to be an artist. Grayson was nominated because she always does her best and is very helpful.
First Grade - Sean Fry
Sean loves to play with tablets and his favorite game is hide and seek. He loves all subjects in school and loves to take tests. His favorite color is green and loves to eat cheese sticks. Sean was chosen because he is a good listener and a good friend. He always follows directions and does his work. Way to go, Sean!
Second Grade - Devin Neiswonger
Devin likes playing video games on him Wii, playing with his legos and playing with his sister. His favorite color is red. His favorite subject in school is Reading because he has gotten so much better at it this year. He loves playing baseball. Devin was chosen because of his hard work and improvement this year. He wants to help everyone and is very sweet!
Third Grade - Calyn Cox
Calyn enjoys playing with her younger brother and sister. Her favorite food is crawfish and her favorite class is math. She also loves playing softball. Calyn was chosen to be the student of the month because she always has a positive attitude, enjoys helping others and does her best. Way to go, Calyn!
Fourth Grade - Elijah Hardison
Elijah wrote the following about himself. I like to play with my brother when he is nice. I like playing my tablet and reading. My Favorite food is crawfish. I like dancing and listening to music. Soccer is my favorite sport. My friends think I’m the smartest person on Earth. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Knight.
Fifth Grade - Maisyn Moore
Maisyn wrote the following about herself:
My name is Maisyn Moore and I’m in the fifth Grade. My hobbies include playing softball, going fishing, and spending time with my family and friends. I love being in the fifth grade and I’m looking forward to going to Jr. High next year. I hope one day to go to college at Baylor University in Waco. I want to play softball for the Bears! I always try to be a good student and friend. I am proud to be the student of the month!
