September 15, 2015 - David Koonce and Brandon Wells won a tight tournament with 21.94lbs, anchored by their second place overall big bass of 6.15lbs. The team will be awarded first place plaques sponsored by Schmutz Automotive. Coming in a close second, John Olive and Jason Wells weighed a limit of bass at 21.58lbs, and winning the overall big bass check with a kicker weighing 6.25lbs. Third place was awarded to Stevie Smith and Rick Chumley, who finished up the season strong with a limit tipping the scales at 20.74lbs. The team combination pot was awarded to Levi Willougby/Kevin Oswalt teamed with John Olive and Jason Wells. Their total weight was 35.80 lbs.The Shelby County Bass Anglers wrapped up another successful regular season this past weekend with 29 teams of anglers showing up not only to cash in on tournament winnings, but also try to make the top 15 cut to the Norris Askew Championship that will be held in October.
