Parents, Students, Community, and Staff,
August 2, 2016 - I hope that you are having a terrific summer. As we get closer to the beginning of school I wanted to inform you about some new ways we at Center Middle School are going to try and communicate with you this upcoming school year. We at CMS are constantly trying to improve communication with you, our school community. With that being said we have decided to introduce two new communication tools to go along with all of our traditional forms of communication.
This year I will have a Facebook and Instagram Page. Both of these platforms will be used to communicate information about our school.
The Instagram page (principal_hensoncms) will be used to send out daily motivational posts as well as occasional school information.
On the Facebook page (Principal Henson) I will send out a weekly video that will include an upcoming events calendar, activities going on at the school, and general school information. This weekly video will post every Friday at the end of the school day.
These two forms of communication are meant to keep you, our school community, informed about activities happening at Center Middle School. They are not intended to take the place of personal contacts like visits, phone calls, or even e-mails. If you have questions, concerns, or needs, please continue to contact us at the school at 936-598-5619.
So please take the time this week to like and share my Facebook(Principal Henson) and Instagram(principal_hensoncms) Pages with anyone wanting to receive information about Center Middle School. Our first Facebook video will post this Friday with information regarding Teachers returning for staff development, meet the teacher night and times, changes in the school day time schedule, and new lunch times.
