February 18, 2019 - For everyone who passed through Center Junior High from say 1958 to sometime in the late 1970s that had Mrs. Malone you can rest easy. Malone threatened all of us with putting our grades and behavior on our permanent record.

In the last week I asked Center Independent School District to send me all the records they had on me. Thought maybe I would be lucky to see that I did graduated from the school system in 1976. But no, I got back several pages of records. Semester ending averages for all High School years. Ending averages for Elementary School. Grades one to six. No k-grade before 1969 in Texas.

What was Missing, is my middle school or Junior High grades. I mean absolutely Nothing. Well there were the results of an IQ test taken in the 8th grade.

So I can only assume that some or all Junior High records are lost. Everyone that had Mrs. Malone should call the school and ask for Ms. Copelin who is in charge of records. Get your records. I for one am Safe and there is no Permanent record from the 8th grade under Mrs. Malone.

I had always wondered how I passed that Top Secret Intensive Background Investigation by the FBI when I went to work for Ford Aerospace inside Cheyenne Mountain in 1983. i.e. NORAD or Cheyenne Mountain Combat Center, which was one mile deep inside a mountain outside Colorado Springs, to ride out a nuclear attack by the Soviet Union.
