Linda Gail Lewis to Perform in Nacogdoches at the Oldest Town in Texas Road Show

May 3, 2016 - Linda Gail Lewis, sister of Jerry Lee Lewis, will be among the performers at the May 14th Oldest Town in Texas Road Show.  Ms. Lewis toured with her brother for 15-years and performs more than 100 concerts annualy in the United States and internationally. Born in Ferriday, Louisiana, having grown up with her famous cousins, Mickey Gilley and Jimmy Swaggart, it was only natural that she persue a career in music. She now resides in Austin, Texas.  “I’m very excited about performing in Nacogdoches and meeting new friends and fans.  I don’t think that I’ve ever been there and can’t wait to visit The Oldest Town in Texas,” she said.

The Branson-type variety show features clean, family entertainment and will also include an appearance by; “The Comedian Formerly Known as Willie P. Richardson,” who has sold more than 1.25 million albums and is aired on hundreds of radio stations, including SiriusXM.  Also performing will be special guests “Uncle Elvis,” (Jesse Wilburn) and his daughter, Kelli.  Master of Ceremonies will be Brad Maule aka “Dr. Tony Jones” from TV’s General Hospital.  Regular cast members include; Kim Crisp aka “Camo Elvis,” Jason Kelly (drums), Heath Perritt (bass), Sarah Griffin Humphries (fiddle and vocals), Ally Fuller (vocals and guitar), Gilbert Burch aka “George Jones” and daughter, Courtney Burch (vocals).  Musical director and guitarist for the program is Stephen Pate.   His wife, Jan, will be a featured vocalist.

The event begins at 7pm at the Old Tobacco Warehouse, 111 N.
