January 14, 2016 - Martin Luther King Day Celebration Monday, January 18, 2016. Inviting all churches, civic groups, etc. in the parade which will begin at 4pm on the downtown Center square. There will be a program to follow, and the special guest speaker will be David Chadwick, Mayor of Center, Tx.
Essay contest: in an essay or poem, write about how we as a society, or you as an individual, can work to "burst bubbles, of ignorance that divide groups of people from one another. Divisions include: Elementary, Middle School and High School. The winner will receive $25.
