Nacogdoches, Texas, June 15, 2018 – NMC Health Network physicians, leaders and clinicians gathered last week to celebrate the Center of Distinction Award, which was awarded to NMC Wound Care Center by Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. NMC Wound Care Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction of 93 percent, a wound healing rate of 97 percent within 30 median days to heal, and other quality outcomes. There were 506 centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award, only 172 achieved the honor.

NMC Wound Care Center offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time.
