Oldest Town in Texas Christmas Road Show

December 5, 2016 - In addition to Kim Crisp aka “Camo Elvis,” the December 10th Oldest Town in Texas Road Show will feature an 8-year-old “Mini-Elvis,” Carey Wesley aka “Etoile Elvis” and Jesse Wilburn aka “Uncle Elvis.”

The Branson-like variety show is hosted by Brad Maule aka “Dr. Tony Jones,” who also sings his favorite “Texas Swing” songs. Nationally-known comedian, Willie P. Richardson, co-hosts the event and brings his unique style of Southern Humor. The show also features The Road Show Band with Music Director Stephen Pate and his wife, Jan Pate, Jason Kelley, Bo Miller, Sarah Griffin-Humphries and C. D. Schull. Also performing will be special guests Courtney and Gilbert Burch, Nathan “Poogie” Alders, Devin Horchem, sisters Ally Fuller and Kate Kovar and others.

The popular quarterly event features local area musicians, singers and comedians and is family-friendly. The show always opens with the Star Spangled Banner and a prayer. In past years, the show has performed in Galveston, Carthage, Lufkin, Tyler and Pineland. “This is a home-grown music and variety show featuring professional performers and always includes young, up-and-coming singers and musicians.
