January 10, 2018 - The Panola College Foundation is excited to announce their 4th Designer Purse Bingo event as their spring fundraiser. The event will be held at the Carthage Civic Center on Friday, March 23, 2018. This event has been a sell out with 500 attendees in the past and is always a fun night for everyone. The doors will open at 5:30 pm, and the games will begin at 6:30 pm. Tickets will go on sale January 15 and are expected to sell out quickly.
“The Panola College Foundation has had a wonderful response at our Designer Purse Bingo each time,” said Jessica Pace, Director of Institutional Advancement for Panola College. “During 2017, in part to the community support of this event, the Panola College Foundation gave a record number of student scholarships and faculty and staff grants totaling almost $125,000.”
General admission tickets are priced at $40 and offer first come first serve seating. A reserved table for 10 is available for $450 and guarantees seating with friends. Ticket prices will include admission, appetizers, beverages, as well as three game cards for each of the twelve games for a total of thirty-six game cards. All proceeds from the event will go to support students, faculty, staff, and special projects at Panola College.
“It is our hope, that through fundraising such as this one, the Panola College Foundation will continue to grow and help more students each year,” stated Brenda Giles, Chair of the Panola College Foundation.
Limited sponsorships starting at $300 are available now and all include tickets to the event. The Panola College Foundation also accepts donations for a raffle that takes place the evening of the event.
