Panola College Honors 20 for Academic Excellence; Four Shelby County Students Named

April 13, 2017 - Panola College honored 20 students with 2017 Academic Excellence Awards in a program at 3 p.m., Monday, April 10 in the Q.M. Martin Auditorium. Don Cocklin, psychology professor, coordinated the event. Emily Zabcik, mathematics professor, provided the invocation, and Mark Dickerson welcomed students and guests.

After a performance by the Panola Chamber Singers, led by Sandra Bauer, choral director, Annissa Jackson, professor and associate chair of the Associate Degree Nursing program, introduced speaker Dr. Barbara Cordell.
