Parade Held in Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 16, 2018 - Album - In celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all he stood for a parade was held in Center beginning on the city square Monday, January 15, 2018.

Parade participants traveled the square and then turned onto Shelbyville Street escorted by the Center Police Department and with the Center Fire Department Ladder truck included in the parade.

On board the fire truck were Center Mayor David Chadwick, Councilwoman Joyce Johnson, Councilman Randy Collard and at the wheel was Fire Chief Keith Byndom. 

The procession traveled Shelbyville Street and came to its completion at Abundant Love Ministries Church where a program was held.
