October 24, 2023 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday at the First Methodist Church, 211 Cora Street, Center, Texas. The October Challenge was "Colors" Members submitted photographs of this choice featuring Complimentary colors, Analogous colors, and Monochromatic colors as shown on the color wheel.
After discussion and voting the favorites are as follows:
1st Place Favorite: Debra Cockrell, using complimentary colors
2nd Place Favorite: Billie F. Jones, showing monochromatic colors using browns
3rd Place Favorite (Three-way tie): LeaAnn Robertson, complimentary colors with flowers
3rd Place Favorite (Three-way tie): Anna Jones, Complimentary colors in painted church
3rd Place Favorite (Three-way tie): Bobbie J. Wood complimentary colors in the icing on a cake
