Plans Underway for Semi-Annual Book Sale

February 12, 2015 - Members of the Friends of the Library organization of the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library met recently to begin plans for the semi-annual book sale and to elect 2015-2016 officers. Money raised by the group is used to help purchase books and materials for the library and to support other library projects. The library is a private foundation library, meaning it relies on donations and grants to provide quality library services. If you would like to be part of this effort call the library at 598-5522 and ask for information on FOL membership.

Officers for the next two years are: President Amy Robertson, Vice-President Deborah Chadwick, Secretary Melba Gillis and Treasurer Janene Walker.

The next meeting will be held in March in the Redditt Room at the library.
